Overview
We are seeking an experienced Pr. Electrical Engineer - Antenna Subsystems specializing in RF / Microwave and Antenna / Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) Testing. The candidate must be comfortable working with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom test equipment to test hardware.
What You Will Do
- Lead a team of test engineers to validate Antenna (AESA) hardware. Tasks will include specification development, trade studies, hardware integration, and test and validation.
- Possess a blend of theoretical analysis, practical application, and hands-on integration abilities.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and RF related issues down to the antenna subsystem component level.
- Independently solve problems and collaborate with the system / subsystem team.
- Identify antenna range upgrades and repairs with leadership; provide technical, schedule, and cost inputs to management.
- Domestic travel is required.
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 8+ years of experience in RF / Microwave and Antenna / AESA Test and Integration.Experience leading a team of engineers by developing schedules and creating test plans based on system requirements.Test development experience in a Near-field Range and ability to architect test solutions for new programs.Experience troubleshooting RF / Microwave Antenna / AESA hardware, software, and build / process issues down to component levels.Experience with RF design metrics such as Noise Figure, Linearity, S-Parameters, Antenna Gain, Directivity, Output Power, Side Lobe Levels, Rogue Oscillations, etc.Experience with common RF test equipment (Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal & Pulse Generators, Oscilloscopes).Experience leading Antenna / AESA hardware integration and validation efforts for sell-off of advanced Airborne Radar systems.Active and transferable U.S. Government issued security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship required for clearance eligibility.Qualifications We Prefer
Ability to present technical results to Program Leadership and collaborate with Cross-Functional teams.Experience in Root-Cause Corrective Action Investigations.Experience working in a DoD environment.Experience using MATLAB.Knowledge of antenna calibration techniques.Understanding of architecture, design, and integration processes for Airborne Radar.Antenna integration experience in Near and Far Field Ranges.Leadership experience including coaching, reviewing, and delegating work to junior engineers.What We Offer

The range is a good faith estimate for all experience levels and may vary with role, location, education, and skills.
