Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring EPIC proficiency and current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting

Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, three shifts per week

May be required to float to other departments within competency and qualifications

May be placed on-call during regularly scheduled shifts

Uses EPIC charting system

Responsible for independently assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in the Emergency Department

May be required to teach, counsel, delegate to, or supervise others as part of care delivery

Must report to the lab for drug screening within 24 hours of commitment

Allow at least two weeks for background check and drug screen results, with a firm document due date

Requirements Active RN license in the state of practice is required; no pending licenses allowed

Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with an ASN required; BSN preferred

Current BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA, not expiring before start date

At least 1 year of experience in the Emergency Department specialty required

EPIC charting experience required
