Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologists (Special Procedures Technologist) to support the Richmond VA Medical Center located at 1201 Broad Rock Blvd, Richmond, VA 23249. The schedule is typically Monday-Friday, 8 : 00am-4 : 30pm with on-call duties. Responsibilities

• Provides IR Imaging care covering the range of services that would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility, at a standard of care that equals or exceeds VA Standards and the TJC
• Adheres to the ARRT Practice Guidelines and Technical Standards in the science of radiology to improve the quality of services to VA patients
• Promotes the safe and effective use of diagnostic radiology through the utilization of specific training, skills, and techniques
• Performs organ-specific and subspecialty-specific imaging including :
• Abdomen
• Pelvis
• Neuroradiology Imaging
• Cardiovascular / Extremity
• Vascular
• Performs related administrative tasks

Qualifications

All candidates must be able to : Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift. Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist. Lift up to 20 lbs. Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance. Push / pull with 30 lbs of force.
