Locum Physician (MD / DO) - Gastroenterology - $375 to $435 per hour in Galesburg, IL

Job descriptionMix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. Provide care for an adult patient population. Focus on general gastroenterology cases. Coverage needed Monday through Friday. Minimum commitment of only 5 consecutive shifts per month. Potential for night call coverage. Manage acute and chronic GI conditions. Perform endoscopies and hospital consults. Handle new patient access appointments. Board Certified in Gastroenterology. Hold an active Illinois state license. Must have active BLS and ACLS certifications. Credentialing process takes approximately 90 days. Full credentialing support provided. Travel and lodging provided. Malpractice insurance included with tail coverage. Assume leadership roles or managerial responsibilities in interim positions or short-term assignments, honing your leadership skills and management expertise. Cultivate meaningful relationships with patients from diverse backgrounds and communities, enriching your clinical experience and cultural competence. Explore telemedicine or remote healthcare opportunities through locum assignments, leveraging technology to deliver care to patients in underserved or remote areas. Utilize locum assignments as a bridge during career transitions, ensuring continuity of income and professional engagement.
