P. (CFS) First Heritage Federal Credit Union is seeking a Financial Advisor to provide retirement and investment services to its member base in Corning, NY, and the surrounding areas.

Established in 1954, First Heritage Federal Credit Union has over $730 million in assets and serves more than 47,000 members.

First Heritage has the ability to serve all people who live, work, worship, attend school or maintain a business or other legal entity in Chemung, Steuben, Tioga, Schuyler, Livingston, Allegany and Yates Counties, New York and Tioga, Bradford, Lycoming and Potter counties, Pennsylvania, as well as their immediate family members.  This role requires a FINRA series 7 licensed candidate who possesses the drive and passion to deliver the highest level of service to credit union members and clientele to help manage their wealth.   The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and be able to motivate other team members to promote the solutions to help clients pursue their goals.  As a Financial Advisor your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

• Identifies and evaluates customer needs for financial services, assess the objectives and goals of the individual, then develops an investment strategy to implement.
• Stays current and analyzes market conditions and otherwise educating and updating themselves about financial and investment vehicles in the market and the tax and securities consequences to clients with particular investments.
• Attends training and / or completing required continuing education and keeps current on investment products and services offered.
• Meets regularly with Program Manager and trains, if necessary, with Program Manager.
• Drives investment and program integration initiatives with credit union assigned program (includes relationship center personnel training).
• Provides regular feedback to the relationship center professionals and identified credit union leaders regarding sales practices and business development initiatives.
• Work with Relationship Center leaders to identify and leverage cross-sell opportunities.
• Services and performs periodic reviews of existing client accounts and meets with clients periodically to review and update client needs ensuring investment objectives and goals are progressing according to plan.
• Meetings to take place either monthly, quarterly and / or yearly depending on client needs established by Representative.

Remains visible to the appropriate segments of the public to meet and to retain potential new clients for CFS, including conducting client workshops / seminars on various topics (i.e., Social Security, Education planning, Retirement planning, etc.) Required Qualifications :
