Position Type :

  • Hourly School Nurse
  • Health Clinic Setting
  • 1 : 1 Student Care

Opening :

  • Monday - Friday, Day Shift

    • Pay : $35.00 - $43.00 per hour, based on experience

    Position Overview :

    We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to support students in a school setting, providing one-on-one care for students with specific medical needs. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with a child to ensure their health and safety during school hours.

    Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide care for students with Seizure Disorders (including Diastat administration), Tracheostomy , and G-tube management.
  • Assist with Type 1 Diabetic Management , including Insulin Injections and Pumps .
  • Administer medications and treatments as per individual care plans.
  • Work with school staff to create and implement individualized health plans.
  • Monitor and document student health status and progress.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of the student throughout the school day.

    • Licenses & Experience Required :

  • Current Virginia RN License and BLS Certification .
  • Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric care is a plus.
