Overview

MANUFACTURING QUALITY ENGINEER

Smith Metal Products – a division of Plastic Products Company, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Quality Engineer for our growing Metal Injection Molding (MIM) facility in Center City, MN. This position will be fully on-site in Center City, MN.

Responsibilities

• New Product Development Support
• Manufacturing Quality Support
• Internal Quality, Supplier Quality, and Customer Quality
• Continuous Improvement and Quality Systems management / improvement

Qualifications

This position requires manufacturing quality engineering skills, ISO environment experience, ISO 13485 experience is desired. Structured problem solving using Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing methodologies, Data Analysis and presentation, and use of validation plans (IQ / OQ / PQ) for products and equipment. BS in Engineering or equivalent experience. Desired experience in Medical Device, Six-Sigma and Lean Manufacturing, Injection Molding Tooling and Processing. 5 years prior experience.

This is a completely on-site position at our facility in Center City, MN with no remote work.
