Plumbing / Fire Protection Engineer

Job Description

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for a Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer with experience in sustainable design and LEED-certified projects. This is a direct hire opportunity with an integrated Construction, Design and Technology solutions firm, openings in Boston MA.

Pay $120K

Responsibilities

• Design of Plumbing and Fire Protection systems for commercial, industrial, municipal and healthcare facilities
• Conduct site visits, inspections, field surveys to support design and construction phases
• Preparation of construction documents including drawings, specifications, calculations, riser diagrams and details
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architectural, mechanical, electrical, and other team members.
• Review of submittals and RFIs during construction administration
• Serve as Project Engineer and Project Manager on smaller, less complex projects
• Use engineering and design computer software to complete assigned work (i.e. Autodesk Revit MEP & AutoCAD)
