Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med / Surg Tele position on day shifts, requiring at least 3 years of recent clinical experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in a hospital Med / Surg Telemetry unit
  • Adult medical-surgical and step-down patient population
  • Day shift schedule from 7 : 00 a.m. to 7 : 00 p.m.
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • May require floating to similar units or nearby locations as needed
  • Provide direct patient care and collaboratively develop patient care plans
  • Work in partnership with physicians, team members, and patient families to optimize outcomes
  • Works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager
  • Access to confidential patient information required
  • May be asked to float to other similar units or facilities as operationally necessary

  • Active RN license required and must be currently active
  • Minimum of 3 years recent nursing experience
  • Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
  • Must reside outside a 60 mile radius
