Food & Beverage Manager
Are you ready to shape the flavor of a world-class guest experience? Buffalo Trace Distillery is looking for a Food & Beverage Manager to lead our caf, premium coffee program, and cocktail offerings. This role blends hospitality and operational excellence, and ensures every sip, bite, and moment reflects the authenticity and pride of the Buffalo Trace brand. You'll be responsible for food safety, quality assurance, team leadership, and strategic planning. Every visitor experience should reflect the authenticity and excellence of the Buffalo Trace brand through exceptional service, innovation, and operational excellence.
What You'll Do
- Lead with Impact : Oversee daily operations of the caf, coffee program, and cocktail service, delivering a true 5-Star standard across all touchpoints.
- Elevate the Guest Experience : Create unforgettable moments that connect visitors to the Buffalo Trace legacy through food, drink, and hospitality. Gather guest feedback and use it to drive innovation.
- Champion Food Safety & Quality : Develop and enforce best-in-class food safety practices, conduct regular inspections, and ensure every item served meets our quality promise.
- Manage Operations & Results : Create SOPs, manage budgets, track KPIs, and oversee inventory, labor, and cost control strategies keeping operations efficient and profitable.
- Drive Performance & Growth : Use the professional development system (PDS) to set goals, track success, and invest in both your own professional growth and your team's development.
What We're Looking For

Qualifications / Requirements
High School diploma or GED equivalentAt least 21 years of age5+ years of food & beverage management experience in hospitality-driven environments in both front of house and back of houseAbility to communicate with all levels of an orgAbility to drive results in a complex, high-growth companyAbility to handle multiple tasks at one timeAbility to develop customer relationshipStrong planning and organizational skillsExcellent oral & written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects at one timeStrong knowledge of food safety regulations, haccp principles, and best practices in kitchen and bar sanitationPreferred
Bachelor's DegreeAbility and willingness to work non-traditional hours (nights / weekends)10+ years' relevant experience (minimum)Experience with new location openingsPhysical Requirements
