Position : Manufacturing Engineer
Duration : 1-year long term contract + potential for perm & extensions
Location : Cleveland Engine Plant, Cleveland OH
Compensation : $35 / hr to $38 / hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Travel : approx. 10 trips to SE MI per year
Must Haves :
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 3+ years of experience working as a manufacturing engineer or process engineer
- Industry experience : automotive or automation but open
- Experience working with engines, transmission, or assembly
- Assembly experience : automation, conveyors
- Troubleshooting experience, more problem solving, working with plant teams and trades for parts issue

Review all machines for assembly and test for 28MY and 29M CEP Cyclone programs.Review all machines for assembly and test for GEMBA and CAFM items.Support in plant installation and launch of new equipment at Cleveland Engine PlantWork with each OEM and follow all tryouts, machine capability confirmations and run-offs at machine tool supplier'sfacilities and at CEP.Collect shipping paperwork of Assembly and Test equipment and provide to PTME for PAR documentation.Support the development of all Quality documentation per launch readiness.Develop and manage open issues list for the responsible machines.Manage within master timing charts with corrective actions and recovery plans identified where needed.Review Workstation Readiness during each program milestone and work to close out open issue by coordinating trades and materials, creating AutoCAD layouts, drawings, and working on assembly aids and error proofingSupport all Production Trial Runs and daily Whiteboard meetings during Rate of Climb.Work on cycle time reduction actions and process rebalancing as needed.
