A well-established manufacturing facility is seeking a skilled Mechanic I to join the maintenance team. This position plays a crucial role in supporting production by ensuring equipment reliability, performing repairs, and conducting routine preventive maintenance.

Job Details

The Mechanic I helps maintain smooth production operations by performing equipment troubleshooting, repairs, changeovers, setups, and scheduled maintenance across production and packaging machinery.

Troubleshoot and repair production and packaging equipment

Electrical and Mechanical Troubleshooting

Single Phase and Three Phase Electrical up to 480v

Exposure to PLC's

Perform machine setups and changeovers to meet production schedules

Conduct preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability

Maintain tooling, machine parts, and manage spare parts inventory

Complete all required maintenance documentation accurately and on time

Ensure safety devices and guarding are in proper working order

Work efficiently to minimize downtime and support productivity goals
