Lead Superintendent

Commercial general contractor is looking for a Lead Superintendent for a luxury mid / high rise project. You will be managing day-to-day construction activities on a site, coordinating subcontractors and field teams, and ensuring project goals related to safety, quality, schedule, and budget are met. This role requires strong leadership to supervise site operations, maintain compliance with plans and regulations, and serve as the main point of contact for project stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Site management : Direct and supervise all daily construction activities, trades, and field staff to ensure project progress, efficiency, and quality control.
• Coordination : Act as a central point of contact, coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Safety and quality : Implement and enforce safety procedures, conduct safety inspections, and ensure work meets all quality standards and building codes from foundation to completion.
• Scheduling and budget : Manage project schedules and budgets, monitor progress, and take action to deal with delays to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Leadership and communication : Provide leadership for field teams, mentor junior staff, and facilitate clear communication among all project teams and stakeholders.
• Documentation : Oversee project documentation, such as daily logs, submittals, and Requests for Information (RFIs).
