Inventory Control Specialist
Atlantic Tire Distributors is currently seeking a full-time Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Charlotte, NC.
We are seeking a self-motivated Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. This exciting opportunity offers the ability to join one of the most successful, respected, and growing companies in the tire industry. The inventory specialist is responsible for maintaining records of inventory within the warehouse. Able to research and troubleshoot both physically and systematically all inventory goods.
Starting Pay (dependent on experience) : $40,000 per year salary, plus KPI based profit share bonus (+ / - $10,000 per year dependent on sales and performance)

Shift : 7 : 00am-4 : 00pm Monday-Friday (hours may vary as needed)

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities :
Research the history of physical and systemic goods within the warehouse.Responsible for the annual physical inventory and managing a team of counters.Operate motorized material handling equipment (Order Picker, Squeeze Truck) to safely move product.Perform cycle counts.Assist other personnel as needed to ensure inventory accuracy.Run daily variance report and perform research.Reconcile discrepancies in inventory.Issue credits to customers and put away return product.Handle any damaged product and remove from the warehouse.Release orders for picking and help load trucks.Maintain a clean and orderly work area.Act as a backup driver occasionally.Assist management with any other duties assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Knowledge of product flow and inventory within a distribution environmentExperience with current software, methods, tools and equipment (including technology) used in distribution operationsAbility to carry out oral and written instructions and communicate clearlyExcellent time management and organizational skillsUsable knowledge of Excel.Desired : 1 year of inventory experience, 1 year working directly in a distribution or warehouse environmentEducation : Minimum High School diploma or GED requiredValid driver's license
