We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals in a thriving and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, general ledger reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and more.

Responsibilities :

As an Accounting Manager, your key responsibilities will include :

1. Managing all aspects of accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and posting sales tax entries.

2. Conducting in-transit reconciliations and assisting with the preparation of financial statements.

3. Assisting with the development of budgets, forecasting future financial performance, and identifying potential variances.

4. Assisting with establishing and maintaining robust internal controls.

5. Supervising, mentoring, and developing a team of accounting staff.

6. Assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable.

7. Researching and resolving complex accounting issues in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications :

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting management role, preferably within the Manufacturing industry.

2. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An advanced degree or professional certification such as a CPA is a plus.

3. Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and experience with financial statement preparation.

4. Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.

5. Proven experience in managing a team, with strong leadership and mentoring skills.

6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

7. Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to research and resolve complex accounting issues.
