Facility :

This facility is part of a comprehensive healthcare system that includes almost 1,000 physicians and advanced practice clinicians. The organization operates 20 clinics and 7 hospitals across the region, serving a population of 460,000. The facility utilizes EPIC electronic medical records in both clinic and hospital settings.

Opportunity : BC / BE - Nephrology

Join a team of 5 Nephrologists in a well-established practice offering the full scope of nephrology services including clinical nephrology, hypertension management, and post-transplant care.

Job Details :

• Call schedule is 1 : 6 with casual staff available to cover as needed
• Hospital practice includes ICU and acute dialysis services, apheresis, home hemodialysis, plasmapheresis, continuous renal replacement, CAPD and CCPD
• Oversee a dialysis population of approximately 300 patients across 4 Twin Ports locations and 5 satellite facilities
• Medical directorships are available for out-patient dialysis units in Duluth, Hermantown, Virginia, Grand Rapids, Hibbing, Cloquet, MN and Superior, Ashland and Hayward, WI
• Provide inpatient care at a combined 500-bed tertiary care hospital complex
• Work as a consultative service with hospitalists handling admissions
• Collaborate with a team of RNs, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and Nurse Practitioners
• Provide outreach consultative services at 3 Twin Ports clinics and 6 regional clinic locations
