Job Title : CT Tech Profession : CT Tech Specialty : Radiology Duration : 16 weeks Shift : Days Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum of 3 years License : CT Registry and BLS (from AHA only) Certifications : Required certifications are preferred Must-Have Skills / Experience : - 3 years of experience in CT technology. - Ability to adapt and get along with many people. - Experience with GE equipment. Description : Provide diagnostic CT scans for interpretation by radiologists or performing physicians. Assist in interventional and special procedures such as biopsy, ablation, myelography, and arthrography. Provide essential patient care during all procedures. Be able to be on call if needed. Apply principles of radiation safety. Organize the daily schedule. Serve as a dedicated resource to the CT team on shift. Adaptability and strong interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
