Job Summary :
The EHS and Operations Intern position offers hands-on experience in environmental, health, and safety management and field operations. This role will support compliance, data collection, and project management of continuous improvement efforts to improve our operations. Additionally, the EHS and Operations intern will help improve EHS programs, contribute to ESG and sustainability initiatives, assist with training development, and monitor site data for trends and solutions. This role is ideal for those seeking practical experience and professional growth in renewable energy field operations and EHS.
Responsibilities :
- Assist with field operations, including site inspections, data collection, and inventory and maintenance management.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of EHS programs and policies for development, construction, and operational phases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and mitigate potential environmental, health, and safety risks and improve operational processes.
- Contribute to ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) initiatives and sustainability reporting.
- Assist with the development and delivery of EHS and technical training materials for staff and contractors.
- Monitor and analyze site-specific data and advance reporting through Microsoft Power Platforms and other software.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to site turnover, compliance, audits, incidents, and corrective actions.
- Participate in regular team meetings and site visits.
Qualifications :
Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.Strong interest in field operations and EHS within the renewable energy industry.Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Attention to detail and a passion for process improvement.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn industry-specific software tools.
