Job descriptionDevelop and monitor department budget, control expenditures, and review and recommend changes to budget authorizations. Develop and implementation of new policies, procedures and programs affecting the directorate coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with overall center objectives and CT services. Review and audit transition coordinator offices regularly for contractual compliance and quality of services to students and centers. Prepare audit and assessment reports. Works closely with the transportation supervisor to ensure proper scheduling to incorporate recreational trips and dormitory trips. Oversee the delivery of career transition services, placement of students and former enrollees, and placement follow-up actions. Coordinate career transition efforts with placement contractors, regional / national DOL offices, military, schools and other job placement agencies. Bachelor's degree and three (3) years related, two (2) of which must be in a supervisory capacity. Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency also required. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Must be flexible, willing to be on call and available after 5 : 00 p.m.
