\n\nJob Description\n

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a new position in adult critical and acute care. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing respiratory care services, ensuring optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

\n\nResponsibilities\n \n

  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions as prescribed.

    • \n

  • Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapy.

    • \n

  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.

    • \n

  • Maintain and operate respiratory equipment effectively.

    • \n \n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar critical care setting.

    • \n

  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Practitioner education program.

    • \n

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) preferred; CRT accepted with critical care experience.

    • \n

  • Licensed by the Virginia State Board of Medicine to practice as a Respiratory Therapist.

    • \n

  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

    • \n

  • COVID and FLU vaccination or declination required.
