Staff Research Engineer

A company is looking for a Staff Research Engineer - Music to join their Artist-First AI Music lab.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with research scientists to implement and engineer experiments

Improve model training pipelines and optimize performance for training and inference code

Integrate models into production environments and enhance researcher experience through internal tooling

Required Qualifications

Experience training or fine-tuning large machine learning models using PyTorch or similar frameworks

Familiarity with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Microsoft Azure

Ability to debug machine learning training code and optimize code for performance

Strong understanding of computer science concepts such as type systems and parallelism

Interest in audio processing and music information retrieval
