We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our Transaction Advisory team as a Due Diligence Intern. Our Transaction Advisory team offers support by providing valuation, due-diligence, and transaction consulting expertise—helping clients ensure they have the right information to make informed decisions.

As an Intern, you will assist on several buy / sell side due diligence projects with oversight from our fast-growing team and have the opportunity to see how we communicate and collaborate with our offshore resources. You will assist with specific procedures and analyses within our Excel-based workbooks by converting raw data into actionable insights. You will be given the support you need to develop a breadth of skills and experiences that will enable you to achieve your goals. Responsibilities

• Complete a case study over the course of the internship and present key findings to team leaders
• Gain exposure to a variety of industries, including healthcare, software, manufacturing, construction, and professional services
• Apply Excel knowledge by building dynamic and linked financial statements and models
• Convert large amounts of data to Excel and format to BTG standard
• Shadow client meetings to build an understanding of client relationships
• Review and extract data from QuickBooks or similar ERP software
• Conduct financial analysis and build financial models (cash to accrual)
• Apply foundational technical accounting concepts centered around GAAP and accrual-based accounting principles
• Additional special projects as assigned

The wage for this position is $31.00 per hour. This salary range reflects anticipated responsibilities and qualifications of a successful candidate for this role. Final compensation may vary depending on an individual’s experience, knowledge, and skills. You will receive an in-depth onboarding and training and supportive Boulay Buddy to help you acclimate to your role.
