Clinical Pharmacist (Retail) - Full Time Days

Find your calling at Mercy! Oversees the preparation and dispensing of medication, medication order verification, insures the monitoring of patient medication therapy. Acts as a resource for the provision of medication information for patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Identifies, recommends, resolves, and prevents medication-related problems through intervention with the physician. Supervises and directs pharmacy support personnel to ensure the timeliness of medication administration. Qualifications : Education : Bachelor of Science (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from a School or College of Pharmacy accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) Licensure : Requires a current pharmacist license from applicable State Board of Pharmacy. Preferred Experience : Previous retail experience is preferred but not required.
