Data & Analytics Manager
As a Data & Analytics Manager, you'll lead a talented team in delivering enterprise analytics solutions that empower smarter decisions and drive growth. This role combines leadership, technical expertise, and innovation evolving BI capabilities while integrating AI and GenAI to unlock predictive insights and automation. You will partner with leaders to translate strategy into actionable initiatives, develop and maintain advanced analytics roadmaps, manage a portfolio of analytics projects, and shape the future of data-driven decision-making across the organization. Your leadership will directly influence enterprise decisions that optimize organization performance, accelerate innovation, and drive growth across a global organization. Responsibilities :
- Identify and prioritize analytics initiatives that execute the enterprise Data & Analytics strategy and deliver measurable business value.
- Develop and maintain analytics roadmaps that align with enterprise priorities and guide the execution of high-impact initiatives.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of enterprise reporting and analytics solutions using modern platforms and tools.
- Lead and manage a diverse team of analytics professionals, setting clear goals and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Drive adoption of AI, BI and GenAI capabilities to automate insights, enable predictive analytics, and enhance decision-making.
- Manage the full portfolio of data & analytics projects and products for your domain, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timely delivery, and adherence to standards.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into actionable analytics solutions.
- Ensure technical excellence in data modeling, dashboard development, and reporting standards for accuracy and scalability.
- Track KPIs, monitor adoption, and measure business impact to drive continuous improvement in analytics solutions.
- Collaborate with data platform, engineering, integration and governance teams to deliver analytics roadmap.
- Maintain compliance with data governance, security, and ethical AI practices while mitigating risks in delivery.
- Stay current with BI, AI, and GenAI innovations, introducing best practices and emerging capabilities to strengthen analytics delivery.
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in MIS, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Analytics or a related field.Minimum of 8 years of experience in data and analytics, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.Expert understanding in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, DataIku and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.Experience with developing in data storage solutions such as databases, data warehouses, and data lakes at an enterprise scale.Strong expertise in BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and cloud technologies (Google Cloud, Azure).Experience deploying Data Science, AI and GenAI solutions at an enterprise scale.Strong program management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional projects.Proven track record of managing a portfolio and developing solution roadmaps.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Applicants must not now, or at any time in the future, require employer sponsorship for a work visa.Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.Strong communication skills, including communicating with Sr. Leadership in a large organization.Preferred Qualifications :
Master's degree in Data Science, Analytics, or a related field.Experience in the CPG industry, with a deep understanding of CPG processes and challenges.Experience with data product management in a large enterprise.Experience managing BI platforms such as Tableau or Power BI at an enterprise scale.Demonstrated experience managing large datasets and building scalable data models.Certification in Agile Methodologies.Location : Austin, MN Global Headquarters (preferred); Eden Prairie, MN (office location)

At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $122,300-$171,200 per year, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
