Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for assisting the assigned manager with day-to-day functions of the Engineering department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Develop new, and refine existing investment casting product to reduce scrap, rework, and manufacturing costs.
• Support manufacturing in the production of castings through all operations.
• Assist engineering / manufacturing in the completion of assigned projects

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Product Engineer Co-Op, you will work with a Product Engineer to assist with their job responsibilities / duties :

A Product Engineer at Howmet LaPorte maintains the dimensional integrity of products via continuous improvement & maintenance. They are also responsible the cost performance of a portfolio of investment cast, super alloy, aerospace and power generation components. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
