Job Summary

The Construction Field Supervisor reports to the Utility Construction Manager and oversees the construction phase of projects for substations and transmission lines, from initiation to final commissioning and closeout. Responsibilities vary per project.

Responsibilities

• Participate in project scope, cost, and schedule development
• Conduct site visits and assist in planning outage requirements
• Develop construction plans, review bid responses, and participate in vendor selection
• Ensure safety compliance and environmental regulations are followed
• Coordinate with survey crews, permits, and environmental groups
• Monitor construction quality, schedule, and costs
• Ensure project documentation, including as-built records, are completed
• Manage safety, environmental concerns, and project progress reporting
