Intensive Care Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM

Experience :

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements :

75 miles from facility to be submitted.

Additional Details :

BJC policy : Every other weekend required.

RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO / IL / Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.

No medical marijuana cards accepted.

Shift & Scheduling : Holidays as needed

Unit Details : Avg. Daily Census 8, Beds : 12

Procedures / Diagnostics / Treatments Performed on Unit : Complex medical and surgical patients requiring intensive care, stroke only, cardiac (cardiovert, pacemaker) no open heart high population of overdose

Types of Patients on Unit : Adults and Geriatrics

Floating Requirements : To MS / Tele, medical, surgical unit, intermediate care

Required Skills / Experience : Vents, IV Start, Telemetry

Parking : free

Previous Employment Requirements : Permanent employees at must wait 1 year before returning to any BJC facility as a traveler.

All Standard Travelers (reside outside of a 75 mile radius) can stay for an 18 month period. Must take a 3 month break after 18 months.

7 days maximum time off

2 references from last 2 years (Manager / Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
