Plant Controller

A client of ours is looking for a Plant Controller for a contract role. This role is critical in driving financial accuracy, operational insight, and strong internal controls within a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on financial leader with deep manufacturing expertise and a strong command of cost accounting. Responsibilities of Plant Controller :

• Lead and manage the month-end close process to ensure accurate and timely financial results
• Prepare, analyze, and present financial reporting for plant leadership and corporate teams
• Oversee all aspects of cost accounting, including variance analysis, standard costing, and inventory valuation
• Partner with operations to provide financial insight on production performance, cost drivers, and process efficiency
• Maintain strong controllership and internal controls within the plant environment
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning activities
• Ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP, and regulatory requirements
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting
