    As a Medical Assistant , you will be instrumental in ensuring the well-being of patients by collaborating with physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and support staff in our practices. This full-time role will be based primarily at our location in Stow, OH, with the possibility of working in other local sites as needed.

    Location : 4275 Steels Pointe Road, Stow, OH 44224

    Status : Full-time

    Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m.

    Primary Responsibilities :

    • Schedule appointments, complete prior authorizations, manage medication refills, handle referrals, and assist with patient inquiries as needed.
    • Conduct clinical intake with patients, including recording vital signs and patient history.
    • Assist patients with mobility, specimen collection, and preparation for exams.
    • Maintain clinical supplies and equipment, ensuring proper storage and handling of biohazard materials.
    • Clean exam / procedure rooms and equipment between patient visits to uphold infection control standards.
    • Assist providers with minor in-office procedures and perform point-of-care testing.

      Required Qualifications :

    • High School diploma or equivalent adult education.
    • Active Medical Assistant Certification.
    • CPR and / or BLS certification.
    • Preferred Qualifications :

    • 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience with electronic medical records software.
    • Experience with back office tasks such as obtaining vital signs, administering injections / immunizations, performing phlebotomy, and urinalysis.
    • Familiarity with front office tasks including scheduling, prior authorizations, medication refills, and referrals.
    • Pay is determined by various factors, including local labor markets, education, experience, and certifications. We offer a competitive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contributions. The hourly pay for this role ranges from $16.00 to $27.69 based on full-time employment.
