THE ROLE :
We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to enhance our Component Technologies division, specifically aimed at driving growth in spare parts sales. This new role will support customer and channel partner engagement, aiding in the follow-up and closure of spare parts orders.
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for generating and following up on leads through calls and emails to existing customers, supporting the closure of proposals in collaboration with Sales and Commercial teams. This position involves maintaining strong client relationships by providing timely support and information, coordinating technical assistance with engineering, and routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate teams. Additional duties include maintaining the CRM database, partnering with channel representatives to build pipelines and close deals, and conducting account research to identify key stakeholders and drive interest in RMS solutions.
PRIMARY ROLE RESPONSBILITIES :
- Lead Generation and Follow-up : Source opportunities through calls and emails to our existing customer base.
- Proposal Closure : Collaborate with Sales and Commercial teams to close existing proposals.
- Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain relationships by providing necessary support and information.
- Technical Support Coordination : Assist customers in obtaining technical support from engineering teams.
- Opportunity Routing : Direct qualified leads to the appropriate Sales and Commercial resources.
- CRM Maintenance : Contribute to the development and upkeep of the customer database.
- Channel Partner Collaboration : Work with channel partners to build pipelines and close deals.
- Account Research : Identify key players and generate interest in RMS offerings.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS :
In-depth understanding of Turbomachinery and RMS capabilitiesAbility to initiate and develop client relationshipsNegotiation skills with a proven track record in closing dealsInput and insights to assist the marketing team in capturing new fleet opportunitiesEXPERIENCE :
Experience in turbomachinery application, service sales and supportProven high performing sales presence in regionTrack record of achieving both customer satisfaction and profitable salesAbility to identify opportunities and communicate them to RMSREQUIRED EDUCATION :
Bachelor's degree or higher education from an accredited institution
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
The position may be based in any of our RMS Houston or Bethlehem office.Travel time is expected to beThis is a full-time position, with a minimum expectation of 40 hours per week. Additional hours, including evenings or weekends may be required based on project needs.This position can be required to participate in the company random or customer specific drug and alcohol screening and background check.Ability to act professionally under stressful situations.Able to understand, read, write and speak English.Ability to lift 30 poundsAuthorized to work in the United StatesRMS Inc. may have government contracts that impose specific requirements on employees working on those projects. While performing the duties of this position, the employee may work / enter a shop or field service environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts. While the work area may be described as generally clean, safe, and "not loud", there will be machining operations that generate moderate noise
