About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Chemical Production Technician to join our aseptic filling group within the Manufacturing Department. This mid-level position is ideal for professionals with pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing experience and previous isolator experience, looking to grow in a strictly controlled GMP environment.
Youll play a key role in ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient chemical and aseptic production operations while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and supporting team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform aseptic and chemical production processes using batch records and SOPs in GMP cleanroom environments.
- Verify calibration and sanitization of all related equipment and supplies supporting production.
- Set up and operate manufacturing equipment for aseptic filling, chemical processing, component preparation, and capping.
- Maintain compliance with cGMP regulations and cleanroom procedures.
- Provide on-the-floor leadership and assist with training new team members.
- Understand production schedules and coordinate tasks to meet manufacturing timelines.
- Safely transport, handle, and dispose of hazardous chemicals and materials as required.
- Notify supervisor immediately if affected by infectious diseases or open lesions (per GMP regulations).
Qualifications
Education : High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework preferred).Experience : 35 years in pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing, with aseptic or chemical filling experience required.Technical Knowledge :GMP compliance and aseptic / chemical processing standards
Equipment cleaning, preparation, and assemblyStopper prep, capping, and packaging experience preferredPhysical Requirements :Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks (kneeling, bending, etc.)
Strong vision and color differentiation abilitiesSkills :Fluent in English (written and verbal)
