We're seeking a skilled Orthodontic Assistant who is passionate about patient care and excited to grow with a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will :
Have prior dental assisting experience (orthodontic experience preferred)Thrive in a busy, team-oriented environmentBring a positive, can-do attitude and a commitment to patient comfort and careBe reliable, organized, and detail-orientedBe eager to continue learning and advancing within the orthodontic fieldResponsibilities Include :
Preparing rooms and instruments for orthodontic proceduresTaking and developing dental x-rays as neededAssisting the orthodontist during patient care and treatment proceduresTaking impressions, pouring models, applying sealants / fluoride, and related clinical tasksReviewing patient charts and documentationEnsuring an excellent patient experience through communication, comfort, and professionalismFollowing HIPAA, OSHA, and all regulatory guidelinesSupporting the flow and efficiency of the orthodontic scheduleRequirements :
Previous dental assisting experience required (orthodontic experience strongly preferred)High school diploma or equivalentMust register with the Office of Professional Regulations within 30 days of hireCurrent CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)X-ray certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment)At Timberlane, you'll find more than just a job-you'll find a team that invests in your success.
