Position Overview :
This role involves outside direct sales focused on your designated sales territory. You will be trained to target small and medium-sized businesses across diverse industries, engaging directly with business owners and decision-makers. Your goal is to promote some of the industry's top supplemental insurance products and services to both businesses and their employees. You'll have the chance to connect one-on-one with business owners, benefits managers, and employees, and conduct engaging product presentations for groups of 50 to 100+ attendees.
Core Responsibilities :
- Utilize our customized Salesforce CRM to identify leads and expand your client base while networking within your community.
- Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, or text as needed.
- Schedule meetings with potential and existing clients to build a strong understanding of their insurance needs.
- Participate in regular calls and meetings with your sales manager and team to strategize and improve.
- Conduct in-person visits to new businesses, develop relationships, and follow up on referral leads while nurturing existing client relationships.
- Build and maintain your own client portfolio.
- Work collaboratively with your sales team manager to establish monthly and quarterly sales goals.
- Plan and adhere to a productive weekly schedule, submitting it to your sales manager each week.
- Record daily metrics and sales activity at the end of each workday.
Additional Qualifications :
Successful completion of a high-level pre-employment background check.Valid Driver's License and dependable transportation.Current Health & Life Insurance Producer license in your state (or willingness to obtain - we provide a study course at no cost and reimburse state licensing fees).Bachelor's degree or at least 4 years of post-high school work experience (candidates close to degree completion or with less than 4 years of relevant experience, such as sales or athletics, will also be considered).Compensation & Benefits :
