This structured, hands-on apprenticeship is designed to help you go from beginner to licensed technician in just 4-6 weeks. You'll spend the first few weeks learning the trade inside our dedicated training facility — and then put your new skills to work in the field maintaining real systems and serving real customers. What You'll Do Spend 4 days per week in our in-house training center learning HVAC systems, tools, and safety best practices Spend 1 day per week riding along with experienced technicians to see real-world service calls Learn the fundamentals of diagnostics, maintenance, and customer service After your training period, apply your new skills in the field performing maintenance and tune-ups on HVAC systems Follow established procedures to ensure safety, quality, and professionalism Represent Summers with respect, courtesy, and a commitment to customer satisfaction What We're Looking For A positive attitude and eagerness to learn Strong communication and teamwork skills Comfortable learning in both classroom and one-on-one settings Physically able to work in attics, crawl spaces, and other tight spaces Valid Indiana Driver's License with acceptable driving record Willingness to participate in the on-call rotation once fully trained What We Provide Paid, structured training — earn while you learn!
