A Taste of Britain is a beloved Main Line tea room and restaurant known for warm hospitality, scratch-made fare, and elegant British charm. We’re growing — and we’re seeking a hands-on Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team with passion, organization, and heart.
What You’ll Do
Oversee all daily kitchen operations to ensure consistent food quality, efficiency, and cleanliness.
Lead, train, and inspire cooks, prep, and dish teams in line with ATOB standards of Excellence.
Manage prep lists, production schedules, and station organization to maintain smooth service flow.
Maintain impeccable food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times.
Monitor food and labor costs, support accurate ordering, inventory, and waste reduction.
Collaborate closely with the GM on menu execution, specials, and catering production.
Be a calm, confident presence — able to coach, correct, and celebrate team members as a leader who leads from the line.
Who You Are
An experienced kitchen leader (Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager) with at least 3 years in a high-volume scratch kitchen. Must have verifiable track record and references.
Organized and proactive — you think three steps ahead and love clean stations and well-planned prep lists.
A steady hand under pressure who thrives in service and models composure and teamwork.
Committed to excellence, consistency, and holding others to high standards.
A positive communicator who values a culture of respect, learning, and joy.
