The Data Center Account Director will be responsible for driving sales and business development efforts for our data center operator customer base. This role involves identifying and qualifying new data center opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, and developing tailored fiber optic solutions to meet customer needs. The specialist will also be responsible for managing the entire sales process, from initial contact to contract closure.

The main responsibilities include :

• Business Development : Prospecting and lead generation, relationship building, market analysis, and solution development.
• Sales : Sales cycle management, negotiation, presentation, and communication.
• Technical Knowledge : Fiber optics, data center infrastructure, cloud services, and industry trends.
• Other Skills : Strategic planning, complex cross-functional project management, and communication and interpersonal skills.

What we look for in a candidate includes at least 50% or more of time conducting sales activities outside of the office. Basic qualifications include 7+ years of industry sales experience, attention to detail, good organizational capabilities, ability to prioritize, strong communication, written, and formal presentation skills, self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented professional with an ability to work with minimum direction, and proficiency in MS office products.

Compensation : This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors. Location based pay ranges are provided.
