2nd Shift Custodian

Performs general custodial duties. Ensures sanitation control and checks for related safety hazards. Receives directions from supervisor.

Performs general cleaning and related janitorial duties for all or part of (offices, restrooms, lunchrooms, break areas, and plant, manufacturing, warehousing or shipping areas.)

Reports needs for major repairs to the supervisor.

Maintains supplies in designated storage areas in a neat and orderly fashion.

Cleans entrances, sidewalks, and outside grounds as required.

Insures the maintenance of proper sanitation.

Checks for safety hazards and reports any deficiencies to Supervisor.

Maintains accurate inventories of cleaning supplies and follows established procedures to replenish.

Operates equipment such as forklift, sweeper, scrubber, buffer, etc. as required to perform duties.

Perform other related duties as may be required.

Must be able to read and understand labels on cleaning supplies, equipment, etc.

Must be able to physically lift, bend, stoop, climb, walk, and reach.

Some custodial experience preferred.
