Intuit is on the lookout for passionate individuals to join our dynamic team as TurboTax Live Seasonal Local Service Associates at our new TurboTax locations across the United States. This unique opportunity blends tax expertise with an entrepreneurial spirit, allowing you to help customers tackle their tax needs while supporting our mission of “Powering Prosperity Around the World.”

About the Role

In this role, you’ll work on-site at a TurboTax location, assisting customers both in-person and virtually using our innovative TurboTax products. Your tax expertise will shine as you :

  • Provide Comprehensive Tax Services : Handle everything from simple W2 filings to complex scenarios involving business income and investments.
  • Engage with the Community : Build long-term relationships and drive customer loyalty through proactive outreach and local events.
  • Educate and Empower : Host engaging learning events and demystify taxes for your community.
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Experiences : Create a welcoming environment that helps clients achieve their financial goals.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide Tax Expertise : Offer hands-on tax advice and preparation services, uncovering deductions and maximizing refunds.
  • Be a Community Ambassador : Actively engage with prospects and nurture leads to convert them into loyal clients.
  • Educate and Communicate : Represent TurboTax confidently in your community, making taxes accessible and approachable.
  • Build Relationships : Connect with clients, demonstrating empathy and understanding of their financial concerns.
  • Deliver a Best-in-Class Experience : Ensure professionalism and genuine interest in helping clients achieve their financial aspirations.

    • Who You Are

  • Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns
  • Familiarity with Circular 230
  • Willingness to work a minimum of 24 hours per week at a TurboTax location
  • Interest in building a local and online presence as a TurboTax Associate
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) skills are a plus
  • Experience in holistic tax advisory services is a bonus

  • Must reside within the United States
  • Must possess or be able to obtain any related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds

    • Compensation

    Intuit offers a competitive compensation package with a strong pay-for-performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range varies by location :

  • Bay Area, California : $23.70 - $28.00
  • Southern California : $23.70 - $28.00
  • Colorado : $22.60 - $26.70
  • Hawaii : $23.70 - $28.00
  • Illinois : $22.60 - $26.70
  • Maryland : $22.60 - $26.70
  • Massachusetts : $23.70 - $28.00
  • Minnesota : $20.20 - $23.90
  • New Jersey : $23.70 - $28.00
  • New York : $23.70 - $28.00
  • Ohio : $20.20 - $23.90
  • Vermont : $22.60 - $26.70
  • Washington : $23.70 - $28.00
  • Washington DC : $22.60 - $26.70
