Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week assignment requiring ARRT, BLS, and Wisconsin licensure.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnostic radiology setting focusing on general X-ray imaging
  • Shift is from 1 : 30 PM to 10 : 00 PM
  • Call and weekend coverage are required based on department needs, currently every third weekend
  • Holiday coverage includes at least one holiday per contract
  • May be required to float within skill set onsite or to sites within 40 miles if needed
  • Uses Epic EMR system and prior experience is required
  • Fluoroscopy and surgical imaging responsibilities are included
  • Duties include performing diagnostic X-ray examinations, assisting with fluoroscopy and surgical imaging, and providing support as needed within the department
  • May be required to float to other locations within a 40-mile radius
  • Epic EMR training provided as necessary
  • At least one holiday may be scheduled during the contract
  • Weekend call is typically every third weekend
  • Local candidates are accepted, but a reduced pay rate may apply based on facility radius rules
  • A team environment with support from radiology and nursing staff
  • COVID vaccination is not required
  • Professional scrubs are required

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of X-ray technologist experience
  • Current ARRT certification
  • Active Wisconsin Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
  • Current AHA BLS certification
  • Experience with fluoroscopy and surgical radiology
  • Prior travel assignment experience preferred
  • Must possess a US Social Security Number and US address
  • Copy of driver’s license required for consideration
