Drain Technician Supervisor
Plumbline Services is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Drain Technician Supervisor to lead and develop our growing team of drain technicians. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities to ensure high-quality service, efficient operations, and the professional growth of our technicians.
As the Drain Technician Supervisor, you will oversee daily field operations, provide coaching and training, ensure compliance with company standards, and work closely with management to deliver excellent service experiences to our customers.
Responsibilities include :
- Diagnose problems and provide cost estimates to the customer
- Provide solutions to sewer and drain problems
- Educate and assist customers on the importance of sewer inspection, repair and replacement
- Unclog and clean sewers and drains for the customer using proper equipment and tools
- Protect all company drain equipment and jetting equipment against abuse, misuse and negligence
- Work with field technicians, warehouse, dispatch and management to ensure overall success
- Exhibit a professional and knowledgeable attitude
- Supervise, mentor, and support a team of drain technicians, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and customer service excellence
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and hands-on assistance with complex drain cleaning, inspections, and repairs as needed
- Lead training sessions for new and current technicians, ensuring consistent skill development and adherence to company procedures
- Oversee scheduling to maximize efficiency, ensuring technicians are dispatched effectively and projects are completed on time
- Resolve escalated service issues, ensuring customer needs are met with professionalism and quality workmanship
- Conduct ride-alongs, job checks, and performance evaluations to maintain high standards
- Work closely with Service Managers and other supervisors to identify process improvements and support company growth
Qualifications include :
Minimum 3+ years of drain or plumbing experience (supervisory or lead role preferred)Strong technical knowledge of drain cleaning equipment, video inspections, and repair methodsDemonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop team membersExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsValid driver's license with a clean driving recordCommitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamworkWe accept applications for this role on an ongoing basis.
