6A is a 23-bed post interventional telemetry unit. The unit primarily serves patients who have undergone cardiac catheterization procedures including interventional procedures and electrophysiology. Staff receive specialized training for post catheterization, femoral sheaths, and Tikosyn.

Job Description :
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or other licensed care team member :
- Provides direct patient care and related support by performing selected nursing procedures
- Performs routine duties to assist medical and nursing personnel in the examination, treatment, and care of patients
Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required :
High School Diploma or equivalentCurrent Kentucky Nurse Aide Certification required or successful completion of first year of a Nursing program and validation of a clinical rotation consistent with level of education.Must provide a letter from their school verifying the completion of their first year clinicals.Basic life supportApplicants will have 30 days from their hired date to provide completion of this certification if they don't have it already.Benefits :
