Overview

Technical Product Manager - Rich Communication Services (RCS)

Responsibilities

  • Experience with RCS or strong foundational knowledge of what RCS is, how it works, and its capabilities.
  • Broader messaging experience (e.g., WhatsApp, Apple Business Chat) with strong RCS understanding.
  • Create customer-facing experiences with a focus on centering the customer in the design process.
  • Understand Generative AI, including how to contribute to model feedback and refinement.
  • Own AI-generated messaging experiences and collaborate with model owners.
  • Techno-functional profile : not a developer, but technically savvy enough to understand system limitations and ask the right questions.
  • Comfortable working in an Agile environment, with experience in requirement building and iterative delivery.
  • Lead product development of assigned features under the larger RCS initiative, with expected collaboration across PMs.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge or experience with RCS and its capabilities.
  • Broader messaging experience with platforms such as WhatsApp and Apple Business Chat, with strong RCS understanding.
  • Ability to create customer-facing experiences with a customer-centric design approach.
  • Understanding of Generative AI and ability to contribute to model feedback and refinement.
