Job description

Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician at Cynet locums summary :

The position is for an Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician in North Dakota, providing locum tenens services from October 2024 to early January 2025. The physician will be responsible for patient care, managing deliveries, and assisting with urgent cases, while maintaining compliance with hospital policies and procedures. This role includes a competitive compensation package along with covered travel and medical malpractice insurance.

Location : ND

Start Date : October 2024

Length / Need : Until early January 2025

Travel & Lodging will be covered or reimbursed

Medical Malpractice will be covered

Compensation :

  • $2200-$2500 (24 hr. call)

Schedule :

  • 24 hour call (7am-7am)

    • Details :

  • 50-60 deliveries per month
  • Admissions per Day : 1-3

    • Procedures :

  • Round on patients, come in for deliveries, go to ER if urgent cases present.
  • Provide patient care and procedures within licensure, specialty, and training.
  • Maintain all necessary reports, claims, and correspondence.
  • Attend continuing education and participate in professional societies.
  • Promote the professional practice of both the Physician and Hospital.
  • Cover for other physicians as per Hospital policies during absences.
  • Deliver services at locations based on patient needs determined by the Hospital.
  • Assist with claims, threats, or litigation involving Hospital policies and laws.
  • Supervise mid-levels, nurses, and staff per Hospital policies and laws.
  • Engage in credentialing and peer review activities.
  • Maintain patient records within 72 hours; comply with record-keeping standards or face penalties.

    • Requirements :

  • Board Certified
  • Active ND license (will consider IMLC w / LOQ in hand)
  • BLS, DEA
  • Clean Malpractice
  • Availability at time of name clear
  • Beneficial if candidates have experience with Meditech / Dragon / PACs / eRx - Dr. First / Imprivata Tap and Go
