Quality Control Technician : M onticello , Wisconsin

Our client in Monticello, Wisconsin, is a leading company committed to producing high-quality products. The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual with attention to detail, capable of ensuring the plant and its products meet the highest standards. The motivated, qualified candidate will help keep the plant and its products ‘in control’ by ensuring adherence to internal procedures and protocols.

D uties / Responsibilities :

  • Bronze Level :

o Observe and report work practices of production and other employees

o Ensure proper GMPs are being followed

o Inspect in-process and finished products for quality and compliance with specifications

o Perform other tasks and projects as needed

  • Silver Level (includes Bronze Level duties) :
  • o Adhere to the guidelines in the label compliance policy

    o Log and report quality holds to the rest of the organization

    o Review incoming COAs for compliance with specifications

    o Perform product testing on residual O2

    o Manage retained products

    o Complete pre-shipment reviews as needed

  • Gold Level (includes Bronze and Silver Level duties) :
  • o Perform equipment calibrations

    o Maintain product attributes library

    o Perform security and storage verifications

    o Prepare samples for external laboratories

    o Assist with training within the department

  • Platinum Level (includes Bronze, Silver, and Gold Level duties) :
  • o Assist with environmental swabbing

    o Compose, analyze, and provide customers with COAs

    o Perform a series of additional audits and inspections

    o Assist with ensuring product specifications are current and accurate

    Required Skills / Abilities :

  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow complex instructions
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Basic computer and email skills
  • Education and Experience :

  • GED or equivalent
  • No prior experience required – on-the-job training is provided
  • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 33°ree;–65°ree;F
  • Shift Details :

  • Hours : 6am-4 : 30pm
  • Work Schedule : Monday–Thursday (some overtime required on Fridays)
  • Compensation :

  • Base Pay : $16-$19.50 / hour (with Pay for Performance program increase potential)
