1 on 1 RN School Nurse All NYC Schools

Position Overview :

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide 1 : 1 care for medically fragile students in public schools across all five boroughs of New York City, with a strong need in Brooklyn . This is an independent contractor role offering a steady schedule and the opportunity to make a direct impact on a child’s ability to attend school safely.

Compensation :

$50-55+ per hour (1099 Contractor Role)

Responsibilities :

Provide one-to-one nursing care for a medically fragile student

Monitor and manage conditions such as :

• Seizure care
• Diabetes management
• G-tube feeding, suctioning, oxygen administration, ventilator support
• Pulse oximetry and medication administration

Accompany the student on the school bus if required

Communicate with school staff, families, and medical teams

Maintain documentation in compliance with DOE and NYS guidelines

Requirements :

Valid New York State RN license

Minimum of 3 years of RN experience

Skilled in relevant care for medically fragile students

CPR and First Aid certification

Pediatric, school-based, or community health experience preferred
