As a part of the Telecare Family, La Paz is a 148 bed Gero-Psychiatric center which serves adults 55 and older.
Shifts Available :
- (1) Full Time; PM 3 : 00 pm - 11 : 30 pm; Days vary as needed
- (4) Full Time NOC Shift - 11 : 00 pm - 7 : 30 AM
Expected starting wage range is $21.49 - $26.25 hourly
We pay differentials!! Weekend Shift differentials for hourly staff (5% for Weekend AM Shift, 11% for Weekend PM Shift, 15% for Weekend Overnight Shift
Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements
POSITION SUMMARY
The Certified Nursing Assistant provides care in Skilled Nursing Facilities that responds to the physical and psychological needs of members served and is consistent with recovery-centered care principles.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required :
High School Diploma or GEDCurrent Nursing Assistant CertificationAbility to communicate in English both verbal and writtenMust be at least 18 years of ageMust be CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certified on date of employment or within 60 days of employment and maintain current certification throughout employmentAll opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification. If the position requires driving, valid driver license, a motor vehicle clearance and proof of auto insurance is required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment. The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The employee is occasionally required to sit, bend, squat, kneel, crawl, climb and lift and carry items weighing 25 pounds or less as well as to frequently walk, stand, twist, reach and do simple and power grasping. The position requires manual deviation, repetition and dexterity and be exposed to uneven walking ground as well as Hazardous Exposure (Blood Borne Pathogens, Hospital Waste, Chemical & Infectious). Visual requirements include computers and books exposure.
