Senior Financial & Data Analyst

We are looking for a skilled Senior Financial & Data Analyst to join our client on a long-term contract basis in Midtown New York. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting financial analysis, data analytics, and day-to-day finance operations with a focus on systems reporting. This position is hybrid on-site.

Responsibilities :

Partner with the VP Finance and Finance Team to assist with automating processes and reporting

Collaborate closely with Business Managers to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.

Create financial models to provide insights to business operations.

Analyze and resolve data issues within the newly implemented systems, ensuring smooth operations.

Develop and deliver insightful financial dashboards and reports using advanced business intelligence tools.

Apply data mining techniques and visualization tools to support strategic planning and operational efficiency.

Requirements :

5+ years experience in financial and / or data analytics

Strong Excel skills required including mining of large data sets and financial modeling

Experience with Oracle systems highly preferred (Oracle EPM, Smart View) as well as DOMO and Power BI

Experience in financial services and / or insurance helpful, but not required
