Description :
Must have CT and X-Ray experience along with required certifications and a California license.
Number of beds : 2
Scanners used : Siemens Sensation 64 and GE 16 Light Speed.
BLS, ARRT-CT, ARRT-R, California license, and Fluoroscopy certifications required.
Scans performed range from 10 to 20, depending on the shift.
Evening shifts are typically the busiest.
Charting system utilized is Cerner and McKesson PACS.
The position requires working the same hours as weekends and includes rotations during holidays.
Orientation specific to the radiology floor is provided.
Common diagnoses include ER patients, virtual colonography, and gated procedures.
General CT experience is necessary.
Radiologist coverage is not 24 / 7, and Nighthawk is used for night shifts.
Floating may occur depending on departmental needs.
Cancellation policy allows for up to 4 shift cancellations per 13-week assignment.
Care setting is acute.
The trauma level is unspecified.
