Certifications : Proficiency in all emergency care procedures required (Central Access, Arterial Line, Lumbar Puncture, Intubation, Pacing, Orthopedic stabilization, etc.)
Description :
This position is for a physician specializing in Emergency Medicine.
The need arises from a staffing shortage.
The provider is needed to start as soon as possible.
The anticipated duration of the position is 1-2 years.
The physician will not have on-call duties.
The support staff will include APP coverage depending on the shift and time of day.
The average patient census will vary based on the location and shift.
Most facilities typically see 2 patients per hour.
Common cases include abdominal pain, chest pain, and similar non-high acuity conditions.
The work environment will consist of a Level 2 Trauma Center.
Emergency privileges will be an option for credentialing.
Orientation will occur on the first day of the assignment or prior.
