Job Title : Occupational Therapist – Acute Care (Travel or Local Contract)

Location : Tucson, AZ

Contract Length : 13 Weeks

Shift : Day Shift | Monday–Friday

Pay Rate : Up to $58.00 / hour

Overview :

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team on a 13-week contract at a leading Acute Care Hospital in beautiful Tucson, Arizona . This is a fantastic opportunity for both local and travel therapists looking to expand their experience in a dynamic clinical environment while enjoying the vibrant culture, desert landscapes, and warm climate of Tucson.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services to acute care patients with a wide variety of medical diagnoses.

Conduct evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Document all patient care in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff regarding progress, care plans, and discharge planning.

Maintain compliance with all state licensing and hospital policies.

Qualifications :

Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Arizona (or eligibility to obtain).

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care or hospital setting preferred.

Current BLS certification.

Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.
